Twelve Roses was created in 2023 during a quiet retreat in the Mojave Desert. Each piece in the edition corresponds to one of the twelve sections of Satoshi Nakamoto’s Bitcoin white paper—translating foundational ideas into physical form. No two are alike; each rose was hand-painted, adorned with natural rubies, and paired with a self-custodial wallet—blending function with quiet symbolism.
The rose motif carries deliberate weight. Timeless and layered, it mirrors the complexity of Bitcoin itself. The connection between a dozen roses and the twelve sections of the white paper felt almost inevitable—an elegant pairing of structure and meaning.
This project continues Kialara’s tradition of embedding unexpected symbols into Bitcoin’s evolving narrative. Like the Guardians series, Twelve Roses invites interaction: owners encode their own keys, making each piece personal and participatory.
All twelve were individually auctioned and now reside with dedicated collectors from the Kialara community—each one a lasting tribute to the beauty and depth of Bitcoin’s design.
