Emeralds: Columbian, Natural, Round, Faceted, Sized 0.20ct. to 0.23ct. with a diameter between 3.85mm and 4.2mm. Good symmetry with medium color intensity. Stones have already been installed at random.
Diamonds: Natural, Round; excellent cut, Color: G, Size ranging from 0.25ct. SI1’s to 0.27ct. SI1/SI2’s.
Rubies: Natural, Round, Faceted, Color: Red, Color Intensity: Intense, Symmetry: Very good, Transparency: Transparent, Tone: Dark, Sized 0.32ct. to 0.33ct. with a diameter between 3.9mm and 4.1mm.
The Hydra edition explores Bitcoin through the lens of mythology, using the legendary Lernaean Hydra as a symbol of resilience and regeneration. Each time a head is cut off, two grow back—mirroring Bitcoin’s ability to withstand attacks and emerge stronger. This idea gained added meaning from a website tracking how often Bitcoin has been declared “dead,” only to rise again.
At the center is a .999 fine silver coin inscribed with the Latin phrase Transit Umbra, Lux Permanent—“shadow passes, light remains.” Found on ancient sundials, the phrase speaks to cycles of decline and renewal, and pairs naturally with the Hydra’s narrative. It also draws a connection to the Egyptian scarab, a timeless symbol of rebirth.
The Hydra wasn’t just a beast—it was a guardian of the underworld, a mediator between darkness and light. In this context, it reflects Bitcoin’s neutrality: a force that can be used in many ways, yet remains unaligned. The edition leans into that tension, framing Bitcoin as both disruptor and stabilizer—an agent of chaos that restores balance.
Select pieces in the edition include loose rubies, emeralds, and diamonds, adding a quiet layer of elegance to the work. Like all Kialara releases, Hydra blends material craft with deeper meaning—inviting collectors to reflect not just on value, but on the myths that help us understand it.

Screws are installed with loc-tite red and heads are drilled out for added security.
