Signature Series w/ incorrect packaging

In June I hired a friend to help me out a couple days/week in my new office space. I’ve been tasking her out with things like unpacking/organizing parts, cutting out holograms, quality inspecting parts, packing, shipping, etc. I still do all assembly work and any other tasks that have zero room for error.

One job I tasked her out on was to hand polish a table full of Signature Series bars. I removed one from its sleeve, and cleaned it to show her an example. Instead of doing one at a time and reinserting into the sleeve, she removed all of the sleeves, polished them, and then stuck them back into random sleeves. I should have made it clear that each bar needs to go back into its original sleeve. The serials are hidden underneath the silver round, or else she may have noticed that each bar had a matching sleeve.

Kialara Signature Series works do not involve keys, and I never accept help with any pieces that do. What has happened here is that a number of bars shipped out with the wrong wrapping.

This affects some (but not all) who received a Signature Series bar between June 1st and July 20th… only those with with a serial number matching any of the below numbers. (on the foam sleeve)

Current: 151, 152, 153, 154, 155, 156, 157, 158, 159, 160, 161, 162, 163, 164, 165, 166, 170

Ex1: 169, 170, 171, 172, 174, 175

Ex2: 151, 168, 170

Example: If you own a Current Signature Series bar and the foam packaging says serial #152, the actual serial is going to be different. Only the above numbers were affected, and there are no duplicate serials in existence… just mismatched sleeves.

I have a record of where these shipped to, and I have begun reaching out to these owners to resolve this – I will have them ship me back the product, or open the backs to reveal the correct serials so that I may mail them a proper sleeve. I will ask for photo documentation that the old sleeves are cut up, and I’m working on ways to compensate these individuals for their trouble. On a positive note, all of the above pieces shipped to only 5 people, so I believe I will be able to correct this quickly.

As someone who works to be transparent with my customers, I wanted to make this knowledge public and let everyone know I am working to resolve this and I do not foresee any similar future issues. All Signature Series pieces shipped from July 21st onward are in their correct packaging. I will remove this post once the issue has been resolved. Thank you.
